So, I've started reading another book called Divergent by Veronica Roth. It's a YA book and I'm trying to see if it's good enough for you guys to read, but I find myself asking a recurring question. What's up with YA novels being written in first person. Forgotten, Hunger Games, Divergent... Twilight. All of them are in first person, and all of them have female leads. And all of them seem to be written by women. The Maze Runner was written in third person and it was written by a man. What do you guys think, is there some connection to this? I have a theory, but I want to see if you young literary minds have some insight. Thoughts?
