Why Pick On Me? (Marvin Redpost Series #2)
Why Pick On Me? was one of my favorite in Marvin Redpost serises. Poor Marvin was being picked on by a big kid.(What ever his name was.) and Marvin was one of those friend-less kid all because of that dude's lie. Louis Sacher's books are always facinating and hopefully you will enjoy this particular book in this serise.

I never read that series although we had it in my fourth grade class. I wonder if it's good...
ReplyDeleteJay, just to let you know, Marvine series are for 2nd or 3rd graders. You won't see it in your 4th grade class, and that is so normal. I read this book as Josh was. I read 2nd grader's book just because it was written by Louis Sacher. It only took me 20~30 minutes. Have you ever heard about Small Steps? It is 2nd story for Holes. It makes good reading, and it teaches you a life tip. If you want to know more, just post a "review" under this so I can write a summery for you.
ReplyDeleteI also read Small Steps. I didn't like it that much though. It's not as exciting and funny as Holes. And if you're a fan of Louis Sachar's books, I would recommend the "Wayside School is Falling Down," "Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger" and some more "Wayside School" series. They're HILARIOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteI believe we did have it... although nobody wanted to read that book.
